Haunted Trails, Mazes & Family Fun
October 16-17, 23-24, 30-31| Hidden Hollows at Paul Bunyan Land | 7-10 pm
Hidden Hollows is the largest haunted attraction in central MN. It includes a 10-acre Hay Ride, Corn Maze, Haunted House and NEW this year they will be having select amusement park rides running!. It will scare the YELL out of you!
- Gates open at 7 pm – Final tickets are sold at 10 pm

October 16-17 | Northland Arboretum Haunted Trails | 7-9 pm
Walk the spooky, scary trails at the Northland Arboretum for our 23nd annual Haunted Trail fundraiser! With low, high, and insane scare options, there’s certainly enough fun for everyone. NEW to this year – a Super Spooky Corn Maze! The trail ends with games, treats and entertainment. Concessions are available at the beginning of the trail and are cash-only.

October 17 | Family Day at Haunted Hidden Hallows (Not So Haunted) | 12pm-4 pm
This one-day-only event is scare-free—no Scream Team actors will be inside. Explore the three-story Haunted House with the lights on, wander through the 11-acre Corn Maze without any frights, and enjoy select Carnival rides perfect for the whole family.
All of October | Autumn Adventures at Boys-N-Berries | Tuesday – Sunday, 10am-6pm
Discover the best of the season with their incredible offerings including pumpkins, gourds, squash, hay bales, flowering mums, and corn stalks.
October 22 – 23 | Halloween Hayride at Confidence Learning Center | 5pm – 8pm
Cozy up around the bonfire before your ride, then climb aboard a haunted hayride departing every half hour and venture down a trail filled with spooky sights, eerie surprises, and who knows what else lurking along the way…
October 31st | Pumpkin Carving Contest at Dunmires on the Lakes | 3pm – 12am
Pick up your Pumpkin October 24th at the lakes location and bring it back on the 31st for the contest!
October 31 | Cuyuna Lakes Fall Fest | 1pm-6PM
Celebrate the colors, flavors, and fun of the season at the Cuyuna Lakes Fall Fest! Join us for a weekend full of live music, local food and drinks, family-friendly activities, vendors, and community spirit. From craft booths to tasty treats and everything in between, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Trick or Treating Fun
October 20 | Trick-or-Treat at Camp Confidence | 5pm – 7:30pm
October 24 | Downtown Brainerd Spooktacular | 11am – 3pm
Bring the kids, big and small, dressed up in their Halloween costumes and join us for our annual Trunk or Treat event. We will have several trunks decorated and lots of candy to share.
October 24| Low Scare Trail & Trunk or Treat at the Northland Arboretum | 1pm – 3pm
Come experience our amazing and artistic Low Scare Trail, followed by Trunk or Treat! This is an outdoor event. Cost is $5.
October 27 | Trunk or Treat at Central Lakes College | 4:30pm – 5:30pm
Bring your little monsters, zombies and princesses to our second annual Trunk or Treat event! It’s located in the lower lot of the Paul C. Findorff Athletic Complex on our Brainerd campus. Free and open to the public!
October 28 | FLC Christ in the Neighborhood Trick and Taco | 4pm – 7pm
Join us for the 2nd Annual Trick or Taco’s event! Games, food, customer contest and neighborhood fellowship.
October 29 | Mills Monster Mash Glow Night | 4pm – 6pm
Get ready for a spooktacular evening full of fun, treats, and glowing surprises! There will be games, prizes, and of course candy!
October 31 | 6th Annual Dangerously Thrilling Decibels Event | 4pm – 9pm
Halloween Themed Music, Gigantic Halloween Display, 500 Pounds of Candy This Halloween, bring you and your trick or treaters to Blair Circle for a one-of-a-kind Halloween display!
October 31 | North-East Trunk or Treat | 5pm – 7pm
Join us this Halloween for a spooktacular evening filled with decorated trunks, sweet treats, and safe family fun! Located at Memorial Park parking lot.
October 31 | Trunk or Treat at Brainerd Eagles | 4pm – 7pm
Free Trunk or Treat for all little goblins!
October 31 | 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat | 1pm – 3pm
A family-oriented Halloween event hosted by Sagent Behavioral Health. Participants can decorate vehicle trunks and distribute candy, with local agencies optionally providing mental-health resource information.
October 31 | Lakeland Veterinary Hospital – Trunk or Treat | 1pm – 4pm
Free family-friendly Halloween trunk-or-treat event at Lakeland Veterinary Hospital. Bring the whole family, including dogs, for candy and seasonal fun.
Adult Activities
October 18 | Scary Bingo at The Center | 1-4 pm
Come dressed for the season and possibly win a prize! Enjoy an afternoon of Bingo, food, prizes, and Halloween fun!
October 19 | Free Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament – Halloween Edition! | 6-10pm
Join us at Pillager Community Center and come dressed as your favorite character! Best costume will get a double stack. Bring your friends and let’s have a ball!
October 25 | Sweeney Todd | 2pm – 4pm
This iconic tale of revenge and redemption will captivate your senses with its haunting melodies and gripping storyline.
